Not too busy, yet

This week you find us not too busy. Just enjoying the summer with no activities. Kaylie is off of summer camp, VBS is only one week, and swim lessons don't start until next week. We are resting up for this weekend though.

Friday, we are doing our normal celebration at the Mall of Georgia (anyone who want to come is welcome). We are getting up there a little early, and going to get the kids individual professional pictures taken. The last ones we had taken was Easter 2007, I feel really bad, even though I have got some pretty good ones myself! Afterwards we are going to let the kids play in the fountain, do the activities they have out in the parking lot, do a cook out up there, and end day with their fireworks display. I am hoping Kaylie does better than she has in the past with fireworks, normally she is terrified and in the truck watching them. When the fireworks are over Kaylie & Chase are going to Granny & Papas for the weekend, while Jeff and I headed to Charleston, SC. This will be the first time I will be away overnight from Chase, and with Kaylie I can count on one hand the amount of times she has been away. I have many mixed emotions, but know they will be well taken care of. Both kids are already looking forward to it. Tonight as I was putting Kaylie in bed she said "you have to work 2 more days, then we go watch fireworks, then we go to Granny & Papas for two nights. Yea!" I explained the events to her last night.

Jeff and I will be leaving EARLY Saturday morning and heading to Charleston for the weekend to celebrate our 6 year Anniversary. Neither one of us have been, so its going to be a learning experience for both of us. If you have been and would like to share something you loved doing please share with a comment or an email. We will be heading back home Sunday afternoon, so we don't have too much time, but just enough time to get away by ourselves.

Next week you will find us much busier. Kaylies summer camp resumes next week, along with both kids starting swim lessons at 6:30 Monday-Thursday. This will be the first time either one have taken swim lessons. Chase will be doing a Parent Assist with me, and Kaylie will be doing a class. I am really nervous on how Kaylie will do, but I will update you with that next week.

I have added new pictures to the June 08 album, so enjoy!

Tiff, I had no idea you had a blog! It's fun seeing pics of your kids again (I've been a complete slacker about the board). They are getting so BIIIIIG! Chase looks like a little boy, all the baby look is almost gone! I'm glad I found this, I had fun "catching" up on you guys:)
