Wedgie??

I have to share this story before I forget!!

Tonight the kids and I were outside playing and I told them when my phone goes off (I set the alarm) we have to go inside to eat dinner. Well, it went off and I forgot I hadn't done a veggie to go along with dinner, so I told them they could continue to play while I go pick a veggie. I put it in the microwave (Frozen Green Giant with the sauce, they are really, really good!) and went back outside. Kaylie asks what kind of veggie and I told her corn. So, she replies "veggie corn."

Anyway, the corn finished, they came inside washed their hands and started eating dinner. I got the normal question "whats hot," of course I tell them they can start on anything but the corn. Kaylie finishes her rice, and put the back of her hand on the corn to see if it was hot, and she said it was good to eat. Then gets this serious face and asks:
K: "will this give you a wedgie??"
Me: "Whhat???????" very confused.
K: "if I eat this will I get a wedgie" pointing to the corn.
Me: looking at her still with a VERY confused look.
K: "you know the wedgie corn"
ME: after trying to keep a straight face, and failing, "no not wedgie, VVVVEGGIE."
K: "oh, OK, vvveggie corn," and she proceeded to eat it.

Needless to say, the no playing/goofing off and just eat I was trying to imply, was over. If you want another laugh, go and re-read the steps prior to us eating dinner.
