I am going to start by saying sorry for this being all over the place!
Chases ENT appointment went VERY well! The doctor said both tubes are on their way out, and we don't need to come back, unless something goes wrong.
The reunion with Mrs. Stacey was great!! I really saw how much she loves and enjoys what she does, and it is not just a job to her. Kaylie and Chase LOVED seeing/playing with everyone, and has even asked when we can go back to the park to see Mrs. Stacey.
The party at my dads went very well. The kids were VERY excited when they saw Clare, even though it wasn't a surprise anymore. Chase did very well in the pool, like always. Kaylie was scared the first time and wouldn't do much, but the second time she got into the pool, it was like a new child climbed into her body, and she was all over. She did go around in a ring float, but no floaties!!! I feel bad, but didn't get any pictures from this weekend. :(
Sunday, if it could go wrong it did!!
It started with us coming home from church with the water line to our toilet chewed. Thanks to Kara (our dog), she is 10 years old and has started acting like a puppy again. She is now in a crate and doing very well. Luckily there is no water damage, that we know of at least. I am just glad we came home straight after church instead of going somewhere like we were planning.
Then I rearranged our computer equipment and as I was doing that, apparently I did something to our Internet, because it wouldnt work. I called our phone company was told it was my modem and I need a new one, but after it got here and was set up, I had to do something to the router. I don't know, it is fixed now, and I don't plan on moving it again! I was away from the Internet world for about three days and I went insane! This is the main reason I haven't posted in so long!
That same day at dinner, I glance over to Kaylie and she is broke out in a rash! I let her finish eating and I check her out. The rash is only on her upper body where her bathing suit was not at. She had just got out of the pool shortly before dinner so I figured it was from being in the sun. Well Monday, the rash is the same place, Tuesday evening it gets worse and is pretty much all over her body, so we take her to the doctor Wednesday morning and find out it is 5ths disease. It sounds a lot worse than it is. It is just a rash that is more prominent with raised body temperature, that can come and go for about 5 weeks, you are contagious before the rash begins. I felt really bad because of all the kids we were around, and notified everyone and like always, some took it well, and others did not. Then just last night I realized she had this same rash back when we were doing swim lessons, it was there before the lessons, but after it was gone (the pool was cold). So, she didnt get anyone sick that I know of. Then Thursday evening her eyelid became all puffy and red and I though it was pink eye. I freaked out! Just what I need, her to get pink eye! Well, she woke up with no discharge, so we realise it is just a stye. Which are fairly common for her.
Anyway, that one day pretty much sums up some of the the chaos we were dealing with last week. I am just glad it has past and a new one has began!
