Doctors

First I went to the doctor. I have been fighting a cold for about two weeks now, and decided its about time to go get antibiotics! So, I went and I have Bronchitis again, which I had already diagnosed myself. I got had about two years ago and pretty much anytime I get a cold it goes straight to my chest and I get Bronchitis. I asked the doctor why, and he couldnt tell me. Oh well, I just wish they would just let me tell them what I have and call me in medicine! The only thing I paid the doctor to do was was listen to my chest. I could have told him there is junk in there! URG!

Then we went and got Kaylie her flu shot and Chase had his yearly check up and got his flu shot. Since both kids have a history of wheezing and/or asthma they have to get the shot and cant get the nose swab. Chase is doing great and the doctor wasnt worried about anything. He was 31.4 and 38 inches tall. We had a few concerns, but he cleared those up! Chase was being his normal talkative, hyper self, and the doctor eased my mind it, he is just a normal BOY!!! It was funny because both the nurse and the doctor said "well, I guess I dont have to ask you if he can speak in full sentences."

I guess its weird, but I like going to the doctor for well visits. Well visits, we get to see the doctor we want. For Chase we have one, and for Kaylie we have a different one. For sick visits, most of the time we get into see whoever is avalible, if our doctor is avaible great. The doctor we saw today, was the first doctor at the practice to see Chase, and he had just started. He even could not belive that it had been three years, or even a year since he saw him last! Going we also get to see nurses we dont normally see. It was funny today, because one of the nurses we normally see with Kaylie saw us today and immediately remembered me. Which shocked me since this is not a small practice! She wasnt our nurse for the day, but she immediately came out and asked how we were, then asked "Wheres Kaylie?" I pointed to her and she could not believe how big she was, then she pointed to Chase and said "Thats the baby?" Kaylie was confused because she had no clue who she was, and here was a lady going gaga over her! I dont think we have ever had her with Chase, and I can not remember the last time we had her for a nurse for Kaylie, but she is definately one of my favorite, and always has been! I wish you could pick which nurse you get along with the doctor!

To add to the post prior to this one, I get home today and got ANOTHER doctor bill in the mail that I wasn't supposed to get charged for!!! That will have to wait until Monday, when I can call them and clarify that one!
