Boat Day

As I was trying to get info from Kaylie about what she did in class, instead of playing with dress up, and someone sharing something with her I asked her the following question.

Me-mama: So, what did Mrs. Connie talk about in school today??
Kaylie: Today is the b b b boat day.
Me: Were you talking about the letter b today (they were last week),
Kaylie: No
Me: What did you do with the boats?
Kaylie: Nothing....
Kaylie: um..... no, its the pirates day
Me: Ok (very confused, but it is getting close to Halloween), ending conversation.
Kaylie: No, its COLUMBUS DAY!!!!
