September

September brought a lot of different feelings this year.

Jeff turned 30 and I gave him a surprise party. I was surprised he didn't find out, but he assures me he had no clue!! He had planned to go golfing that morning for his birthday, and I was able to get everything ready! I had the party over at my dads and just told him we were there swimming. It was very hard to keep it from him, and even harder to invite people, but in the end it all worked out!!!!

The 10th was a very emotional day for me!! The morning brought a new baby girl!! My best friend first pregnacy she had lots of problems and ended up delivering early, and the baby had to stay in the NICU for about a month. Well, with this one (her second) she went full time and delivered a healthy baby girl that was able to come home when she left!! That day I was able to leave work a little early and go and visit the new parents at the hospital! Then that evening Jeffs uncle died. He was diagnosed with stage four Cancer and given six months to live and then died two weeks later. It was so hard to be so happy and sad the sameday!! It brought me to thinking a lot since this was the second baby I knew to be born and also the second person to die really close together. I really makes me wonder what the next few months is going, every month until March I know someone due to have a baby! The passing of Jeffs uncle was hard to explain it to the kids, especally Chase since he is so literal, but they took it well. The first thing Chase said when we told the kids was "he is up with Jesus playing with Booger!" Booger was my dads dog who passed away.

The 17th Chase turned 4 years old!!!! He was so happy! We started the day off with cupcakes (which we do on all birthdays) and then that evening he got to choose where we went to eat dinner. Out of all places he choose Sweet Tomatoes, which is a Soup and Salad bar. By the end of the day he was asking when he was turning five. We ended up having his birthday at a Jumpy Place with all his friends and he had a Blast!!! He is now out of a carseat an into a booster seat, he has graduated out of the nursery at church and in a Sunday School class, and is also able to do the rotation on Wednesday nights. This also means Kaylie and Chase are in the same classes at church until next fall when Kaylie moves up.

September also brought the first of Kaylies football games!! We have had Cheerleading practice since the beginging of August, but we are now doing games. Which are a blast!! We even went to a High School football game which was really fun. I havent been to one of those since I was in High School. It wasnt the same school I went to, but it is the one my nephews go, and the kids will go to if we stay in the same area. The best part of cheering this year is 1. we are cheering for tackle football, and 2. we have the same group of football players each game this year and they are excited for the cheerleaders. The last game our football players were doing their halftime routine with them, which is Hannah Montanas Hoedown Throwdown! I do not have many pictures since the Saturday games it has been raining/heavy mist, and the weekdays I have left my camera at home. :( But dont worry, I will just have to catch up during the rest of the games!! This picture is from picture day.

Georgia did get LOTS of rain and even areas of flooding, but nothing we had to worry about. The only flooding Jeff or I dealt with was the parking lot at Jeffs work, but nothing that harmed anything or anyone.

September was a BUSY month, but the routines are falling into place things are going smoother! October is starting to go a little smoother, but we are still at the begining. The kids are on Fall break this week, and next week we get Kaylies first progress report along with a parent teacher conference with her teacher.

Hope everyone is doing GREAT!!!
