I know I have really been bad about this blog and I am sorry for those who actually do keep up with this. Kaylie started Kindergarten about a month ago. She LOVES it, but she does get in LOTS of trouble for talking. I havent quite figured out if its because 1. she just wont stop talking, 2. the teacher doesnt have much time when the can talk, or 3. she is bored. I know Mrs Connie last year always said "she LOVES to talk," but when I ask Kaylie when she is allowed to talk she says never, and I know she is bored (she was reading over the summer and they are learning letters and their sounds, shapes, and colors), so its probally a mixture. I am not extremely fond of her teacher, but I have come to the conclusion that we were really spoiled last year because Mrs Connie & Mrs Dabney were WONDERFUL teachers! Kaylie is doing Cheerleading again this fall and loves it, she cant wait till her first game. They are doing the Hoedown Throwdown as their halftime routine, it is really cute!
Chase has also started, and is loving it! He is going three days a week again, and has two wonderful teachers Mrs Christy and Mrs April. For a three year old class, they really do a lot with the children! He is excited because his girlfriend is in his class again, actually her mom and I made sure they were going to before the school ended last year.
Now if you would please keep my friend Shannon in your thoughts and prayers: You may remember me talking about Marie, Shannons little girl who had Leigh's Diesase. Well, last Thursday they welcomed another beautiful little Girl, Sarah Kate, into the world and then, the very next day Marie passed away in her sleep at home. It is almost like Maries job here on earth was to make sure her sister arrived saftely. Marie did get to meet her sister Thursday night, along with not having to suffer, and is now running and dancing in heaven. This really is a true example of Job 1:21: "The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away." So please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they go on thru the next few days, weeks, months, and even years! They do have another little girl about the same age as Kaylie. If you would like to read more about this family, you may go to Shannons blog at josieandme.blogspot.com. I have put this section in Purple, because you might remember I had asked everyone to wear purple on Memorial Day in honor of Marie.
