Spring Break

**Pictures will be added later**

April 20 to April 24 was Kaylie and Chase first Spring Break, since going out of town was out of the question we decided to have a week full of different activites.

Monday
Jeff took the kids fishing that morning. It was so windy, it was a better day for flying kites, than fishing, and they didn't catch anything.
That night we went to the NEW Gwinnett Braves Stadium for a game, Gwinnett vs. Durham. We ALL had a blast!! This was both kids first actually baseball game, and it wont be the last!! The best part was that they won!! Which was the first game they won in the new stadium. Kaylie and Chase were more interested in where Chopper was, than who was on the field, but they had fun! Kaylie ended up getting on the big tv, while Chase and Jeff got up, but is so shy in front of a lot of people she FROZE and would not do ANYTHING!!! Chase was in complete shock of how big the Stadium was, along with the fact they broke 4 bats!

Tuesday
In the morning Jeff took the kids to the library for storytime, which the theme was Cows, and ended up checking out a few books, then going to the park and playing on the playground.

That night we went up to the park and went SWIMMING!!! They have an indoor water play area at an indoor park. I have been meaning to go all winter long, but never had a chance! The kids had a BLAST and it wore them OUT!! Chase ended up sleeping until about 10AM, which he has NEVER done!! He is the one normally waking everyone up at 7am!

Wednesday
I actually took off work so we could all spend the day together!
We ended up going to INK (Interactive Neighborhood for Kids). Its a kids science Museum, the kids had a lot of fun. Chases favorite part was the train table and slides, where Kaylies favorite was the dress up and hair salon. This was not the first one we have been too, so the kids new what to expect. We have been to one in Flordia, and in KY. But I think the best and cheapest one so far is the one in Lexington, KY.
We left there and went to Mayfield Dairy for their tour and get Ice Cream as a treat. We got there we found out they don't do tours on Wednesday, so we just got ice cream instead, and then went shopping.

Thursday
Since we could not do the tour on Wednesday, Jeff to the kids to up Mayfield Dairy to do the tour. They were making Strawberry Milk! Jeff found out that Mayfield actually makes Walmart and Target milk, but they skip ONE step of going thru a machine to take out funky flavors. Then he took them to the park to play on the playground!

Friday
The kids started the day out at a Yardsale with Jeff, and they really didn't find much.
Then they went fishing!! Chase ended up catching his FIRST fish, and was even the one who spotted the "Ginormous Snake" as he called it. Jeff actually told him it was a stick until he turned and looked at it, and realized he was right! (Glad I was not there!!) Kaylie ended up catching 2, and Jeff 3. Kaylie did end up catching the biggest fish! Kaylie and Chase are really excited to eat their "fish nuggets." They don't have their Mommy's taste when it comes to fish!

That night I pulled out the water table and let them have Fun and get wet!

Saturday
We started the day off early at more Yardsales, and ended up with a truck load of stuff!! Including a Patio Table, Bean Bag chair, Leapster Games, New light fixture for the front bathroom, books, clothes, air matress, Papasan Chair, and more!!
Then we went to Stone Mountain to play, and we ended up staying and watching the Laser Show with our friends.

Both kids had a hard time adjusting back to the "school life." I was very shocked this past week that everyday I left for work, both kids were still asleep! Normally Chase is up before I even think of getting out of bed! All in all, it was a VERY Long, VERY tiring, but FUN SPRING BREAK WEEK!
