Well, a few months have passed, and quickly might I add, since we entered into 2009 and I want to give an update on the goals I had!!
Getting the house ready to sell is slowly coming along. Our Masterbath, that we first started in January is pretty much COMPLETE!!! Everything had been done except for the floors, those we just finished this past weekend. For my motivation I just look at houses, and normally find one! If I could only find a motivator for my other half we would be in great shape!! Anyone have any ideas???
The others were my faith and my childrens faith becoming stronger and having more of an understanding.
My childrens faith, I do see little things. Kaylie is starting to understand more "stories in the bible" then Chase, but they both do little things that make me as their parent feel proud!!
Like, when eating Chase is the one that "reminds" everyone to say their prayers.
Everyday when I pick them up they ask if we are going to church.
Kaylie has really started singing to the radio in the car, but it took me by surprise the other day when she started signing this song while coloring, she will also sing Jeremy Camp: "There Will be a Day":
With me, I definately have a stronger relationship. I have leaned on him more this year, than I have ever. He has always been there to give me the answers, or sent an angel to give me those answers.
I have also, with the help of another lady at our church started a group for the Moms!!! Our church has a group for pretty much anything you can think of except for the moms to get away from their children! This really is out of my league, I am one to follow, and will help along the side and be there when I am needed. But, to help start something up complete from scratch, that is new game for me! We actually had our first meeting this past Sunday pretty much to see who all wanted to join and had a pretty good turn out. Our first actual meeting doing something is the last Saturday in May, and hope to have quite a few people.
