Baptism

Kaylie & Chase were BOTH baptized this past Sunday, September 7. They did GREAT! Chase was held by Reverend Parker while he baptized him, and Kaylie knelt down at the alter with Jeff and I by her side, along with the Lay Leader Heather, and Associate Pastor Paige, while Reverend Parker baptized her. It was a really busy, but beautiful service, since there was our baptism, holy communion, and 14 people join the church. We were glad to have majority of our family join us for the service, which was their first time at our church. Along with the first time we have ever had all the grandparents together with the kids, so we took the opportunity to get LOTS of pictures! Afterwards my mom and her boyfriend had to leave to go back to Florida, not knowing what Ike was going to do, but we had dinner the night before. We went to lunch with Jeff's family, and then to dinner (and a swim, of course) at my dads that night with my family.
