He's only 2!!

Well Chase has shocked everyone, including me the last few weeks!

He has started doing the Wednesday night classes which is supposed to be for Pre-k to 5th. But he has managed to slip in and do VERY well! Most of the helpers are very surprised when they find out he is only 2! We will probably have a tantrum when he doesn't get to slip in and gets put in the nursery, but I fair warned them this week, and plan on doing the same for next if the workers change! He throws a fit going in there every other time, but its going to be worse now!

I have also started to read two books to them at night, then they each get one to read in bed, then the next night I have a break and they switch books. Well last night Chases book was Peanut Better & Jellyfishes by Brian P Cleary. It is an alphabet book, and at the end they have all of the ABC's. Well, I went thru each one of the letters in random order and he knew them ALL, including the sound they made, and a word that goes along with them!! For example: "K says Kah like Kick." The last time I did that was at the beginning of April and he only knew 17 letters! Needless to say I was VERY shocked!! Whats next reading?!?!? The sad thing he doesn't start Pre-K for two more years! I may see if I can get him tested to start in 2009, instead of 2010.

I haven't gone thru the letters with Kaylie since April either, last time she knew about 20, I need to go thru them with her too.
