What I thought was going to be very hard, really was really easy. CHASE is DONE with the PACI!!! It was A LOT easier for him than it was for Kaylie, but I am not sure how old she was when we got rid of it. He has only been using it at night and during nap since he was about 18 months old.
It started Saturday night when he fell asleep in the car and when we put him in bed, we never gave it to him and he never asked. Sunday night was the same thing, Jeff was the last one in there but he never said anything to me, which normally he does. Monday night he did ask for it, but I said no, here is your bear bear and your blanket. He did not fight, cry or anything, just turned over and went to sleep. He has yet to ask for it again! We also haven't gone around the house to collect them, and throw them away, but he hasn't gone find them either. Usually he would find them and stock pile them in his bed, since that was the only place he could have them.

Bye, Bye!!!
The hardest thing has been naps! He is not wanting to take a nap, but we have also stopped giving Kaylie a nap hoping she would fall asleep at night sooner than 11pm. Which does help on that part. But since Chase hears Kaylie awake he is refusing to go to sleep also! Kaylie does go into her room, but she talks, plays, and reads out loud. Him not having a nap hasn't been too bad, for me, but he is more crabby. Jeff on the other hand its a lot harder for.
