Our Thanksgiving

Well, I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!!! We did, and have a lot to be Thankful for.

We actually had quite a few Thanksgiving dinners, between church, school, work, and actual Thanksgiving day. Kaylie said she ate "five turkeys."

We did go to her school and eat Thanksgiving lunch, which they sang a few songs for us: Five fat Turkeys, Pepperoni Pizza (for those who remember singing "I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas", its the same song, but Pepperoni Pizza instead of apples and bananas), and one doing the abc and sounds. Chase's class didn't do anything for Thanksgiving.

Kaylie signing with her class. She is right infront of the teacher:
Our little pilgrim at school!

Here are a few cute quotes from Thanksgiving:

The first we were on the way home and I was trying to get info on what they talked about in school, well she said Indians.
Trying to get more out of her I asked what they were.
She said they live in America.
Then where do we live?
Georgia.
Chase, chimes in: no we live in our home!!

Then we asked both kids the infamous question: How do you cook a Turkey?
Kaylie:
First you catch the turkey, and you cook it.
We then asked how long, at what temp, and what you put on the turkey.
You put it in the oven for 5 min for 5 degrees and you put a little bit of salt on it.
Chase went next and he kept saying he didn't know and asking Kaylie, so we got the same answer. :)

Chase Thanksgiving Day:

After all the Thanksgiving festivities for the day, the kids stayed with Granny and Papa (THANK YOU!!!!!), and Jeff and I headed to the mall. It opened up at Midnight, we were up all night, and then went out for the Black Friday sales!!!! We were done and home by 8am, and took a nap for a few hours before we got the kids. This was Jeff's first ever Black Friday shopping, and he has even agreed to go out next year with me. I don't think he wants to do the all night shopping though!
